    Aspirants that are willing to pursue their career as a scientific researcher in the Indian Meteorological Department can initiate from the Assistant post. The complete eligibility criteria is:

    ► Age Criteria:

    1. The candidates applying for the post must be between 18 - 30 years of age.
    2. The age relaxation is provided according to the guidelines by the government.
        • OBC Candidates: 3 years
        • SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
        • PH Candidates: 10 years

    ► Educational Qualifications:

    1. Full-time B.Sc. Degree with 60% marks from any recognized university, physics should be on the list of the main subject.
    2. 3 - year diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
