    WB Police Recruitment process for this year is for a total of 8419 vacancies for Police Constable. The application form was available in the month of february last year. The applicants should meet the eligibility criteria for the job. The complete eligibility criteria for West Bengal Police Constable is:

    ► The applicant must have passed Madhyamik Examination from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent.
    ► Applicants must have served as a leasing seaman/seaman-I/seaman-II in Navy or all equivalent branches or as Uttam Navik/ Navik in Coast Guard in GD/ Technical Branch or who is having 3 years experience as a Constable in BSF or ITBP can submit the applications.
    ► The maximum age for WB Police COnstable is 45 years.
    Age relaxation:
    •  For SC/ST candidates of West Bengal only: 5 years
    •  For OBC candidates of West Bengal only: 3 years
