LPU NEST Required Eligibility Criteria for Admission in Law:
The LPU NEST is organized by Lovely Professional University to offer admission in Undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Law. The applicants must have qualified 10+2 examination with an aggregate of 60% from the recognized board. The graduation degree with 50% is mandatory for the Postgraduate programme. Only Indian citizens are considered for admission.
Lovely Professional University organizes LPU NEST every year to the LAW aspirants through this gateway. The COVID-19 Pandemic have let the admission procedure shift to the online mode. The online proctored test will be a scholarship test. The applicants have to book the slot to appear for the online test that they can give from their home.
The online test for UG programme will be conducted in the online mode from June 07 – 30, 2020. The postgraduate LLM entrance examination will be conducted from May 25 -27, 2020. The results will be declared after four days of the successful commencement of the online examination. LLM Entrance test result will be declared on May 29, 2020.
The detailed eligibility criteria for LPUNEST (Law):
1. For the candidates who are appearing for the Undergraduate Programme:
Nationality:
Only Indian citizens are considered to be eligible for the application of LPU NEST.
Educational Qualifications:
The candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with an aggregate of 60% from the recognized board such as CBSE/ICSE/CISCE/ any state board that is recognized.
The applicants can be of any stream with English as the required subject. The relaxation in 60% marks is given below:
a. SC/ST Applicants: 5%
b. OBC Applicants: 3%
c. Applicants from North East States and Sikkim Candidates: 5%
d. Defence Personnel/ Kashmiri Migrants: 5%
e. Sports Personalities (Outstanding in the category: A/A+ category)
The certificate must be verified from the Selection Committee
2. For the candidates who are appearing for the Postgraduate Programme:
For LLB:
The candidate must have qualified the graduation from any stream with an aggregate of 50%. The relaxation in the marks criteria is sane as that of the Undergradudate programme.
For LLM:
The candidate must have qualified LLB with an aggregate of 50% marks. The applicant if falls under more than 1 category, then only one relaxation will be provided.
The admission will be only on the basis of the merit in the LPUNEST.
