A piece of ice is floating in a jar containg water. When ice melts ,then level of water... 1.rises 2.falls 3.remains unchanged 4.changes erratically

please explain

  • Suppose you fill a jar up to brim with water .Add ice cubes....It will displace water and float.some overflow will occur. But after that even when ice melts level doesn't change ,spillage doesn't occur. Physics floatation .... Displacement...
