FDDI Admission Exam: Exam Pattern, Eligibility Criteria, and Details



All India Selection Test (AIST) conducted by the Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI) for the admissions in various professional programs. FDDI has 12 campuses in India. The exam will be in offline mode and will be held in June 2020. The registration process has been started. The candidate must have passed 10+2 in any stream from a recognized board. The exam will be of 150 minutes containing four sections- Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability, General Awareness and Business Aptitude Test (BAT).

Geometry, Ratios and Proportion, Number System, Work and Time, HCF & LCM, Algebra, Profit & Loss, In-equations Quadratic and linear equations, Geometric Progression, Percentages & Averages, Partnership (Accounts), Time-Speed-Distance

Verbal Ability:

Verbal Reasoning, Syllogisms, Fill in the Blanks, Contextual usage, Analogies & Idioms, Different usage of same word, Antonyms & Synonyms. Sentence Completion, Jumbled paragraphs, Foreign language words used in English, Sentence correction, One-word substitution

General Awareness:

General Knowledge, Geography, Computers, Current Affairs, Economics, Sports, Business News, General Polity, Advertising & Awards, Domestic and Global Trade, Science, History

Preparation tips for FDDI Entrance Exam

·         You need to finish 4 sections of FDDI Exam within 150 minutes, which means you need speed with accuracy in order to attempt 200 questions in total. The more you practice, the better chances you have of acing this exam.

·         Remember negative marking is not a factor here. Therefore, try to attempt all questions.

·         Manage your time properly; give appropriate amount of time to each section. Try to improve your time by practicing as many online tests as possible.
