ICAR AIEEA Exam Pattern, Marking Scheme, Syllabus, Previous Year Papers



ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) conducts the All India Entrance Examination for Admissions (AIEEA). The council organizes the exam for various UG and PG courses. AIEEA is the entrance test for the admissions into the Bachelor's degree and Master's degree programs in agriculture offered by Agricultural Universities. The application process will begin from 1st March to 30 June 2020, and ICAR will conduct the exam on September 16, 17, 22, and 23 2020. Through the test, aspirants can take admissions into 11 Bachelor's programs. The Undergraduate courses are offered by NDRI, Karnal, and RLB central agricultural Universities. The examination will be conducted in 87 cities all over the Country. There will be 60 questions from each section; however, a candidate has to attempt three sections they have chosen at the form filling. The ICAR AIEEA Exam Previous Year Papers will give candidates the direction to start their preparations accordingly.

ICAR AIEEA Exam Pattern:

AIEAA is an Online Computer-based test with 150 MCQs asked from the three subjects: For Stream A, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology/Agriculture and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics for Stream B. The time frame provided to solve the questions is two and a half hours (150 Minutes) for the undergraduate program and 2 hours for PG programs.

AIEEA is the national level entrance examination for the admission in undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. agricultural programmes offered by various colleges in India. NTA, along with ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research), conducts AIEEA. The dates for the exam have been changed due to the current situation.

ICAR AIEAA Marking Scheme:

In ICAR AIEAA, negative marking is a vital factor. The AIEEA aspirants will observe a negative marking of 1 mark per the wrong answer. The correct answers will add 4 marks to the score of the aspirants. The negative marking creates a massive problem for the aspirants. It leads the aspirant's score to the back foot; it pushes the aspirant backside from scoring the best ones.

Time Management
