SET Exam Pattern, Insights and Details
Symbiosis Entrance Test or more commonly known as SET is conducted by Symbiosis International University which is a UG level entrance test. Candidates aspiring to make their careers in the fields of Information Technology, Mass Communication, Economics, Liberal Arts, Culinary Arts and Computer Science are made to appear for the entrance exam. This common entrance test will be conducted for admissions in SIT (Symbiosis Institute of Technology) for Bachelor Programmes in B.Tech, Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunications, Information Technology, Mechanical and Civil. Furthermore, candidates so shortlisted after SITEEE on the basis of their performance will be faced with PI-WAT/ST-PI (Personal Interaction/Writing Ability Test). Then the final merit list will be comprised on the basis of scores in SITEEE/Personal Interaction/Writing Ability Test combined. SIT also accepts the score of JEE mains. The test will be divided into three sections; Physics, chemistry and Math and the time duration of the test will be 150 minutes. There will be no negative marking in either of entrance exams SET / SLAT / SEED / SITEEE. To Prepare well, candidates are advised to attempt SET Exam previous year question papers.

SET 2020 Tips and Tricks
• Make mathematics your strong suit, practise questions to solve them within time to increase efficiency. The trick here is to mug up math formulas by heart, so they come in handy while solving a problem.
• After each study session keep 1 hour for revision of topics learned/practised. Learn Chemical reactions by writing over and over.
• Become smart by attempting questions that you are sure of first, then come to the questions you’re in doubt. But attempt them anyway, remember negative marking is not a factor here. Therefore, try to attempt all questions but keep some time for revision of questions as well.
• Manage your time properly; give appropriate amount of time to each section. Try to improve your time by practicing as many online tests as possible.
