IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) conducts an online exam know as common written exam or CWE for the post of clerical cadre in multiple banks across the country every year. This year it is going to be the eighth consecutive year by IBPS to conduct the clerical exam and hence the name IBPS Clerk CWE VII. The IBPS Clerk recruitment involves two stages of tests – Preliminary & Main before finally being absorbed for the post. The official website has released the tentative exam dates for the candidates who are aspiring IBPS Clerk. The Online Registration period starts from September and exam dates are expected in between the month of December to January . To Prepare well, candidates are advised to attempt IBPS Clerk Mains Exam previous year question papers.

IBPS Clerk Mains Exam: Exam Pattern

IBPS Clerk is going to be a two-stage recruitment process consisting of Preliminary and Main examination. Candidates who qualify the Preliminary & Main Examination will be absorbed as Clerks in various nationalized banks.

Mains Examination:

The IBPS Clerk (Main Exam) test will have 190 MCQs categorised in four sections. The duration of this test will be 2 hours and 40 minutes with a specified amount of time to be allotted to each section.
