RSMSSB Junior Engineer (Civil) Recruitment has two stages for the eligible candidates to get recruited. The candidates have to go through a proper RSMSSB Junior Engineer (Civil) selection process:

The RSMSSB Junior Engineer (Civil) Eligibility Criteria is:

1. Age Limit:

  • The Junior Engineer Civil must be within 18 - 40 years of age.

  • The reserved category candidates are provided with the provision of age relaxation according to the Government guidelines. The age relaxation in the upper age limit is:

    • General/EWS candidates: 5 years

    • SC/ST/OBC/ BC (Men residence of Rajasthan) – 6 years

    • SC/ST/OBC/BC (Women residence of Rajasthan) – 10 years

    • Ex-servicemen: 5 Years

2. Educational Qualifications:

  • The candidate must have B.E/ B. Tech degree or diploma in Civil stream, or equivalent from the Government recognized Board/Institute.

3. Nationality:

  • The applicant eligible for RSMSSB Junior Engineer (Civil) Recruitment Test can be of Indian Nationality, Citizen of Nepal, Citizen of Bhutan, Tibetan refugee, only if they come intending to stay in India.

  • People born in India but migrated to Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries.

The RSMSSB Junior Engineer (Civil) exam's marking scheme is that the negative marking of 1/3rd marks is deducted for the incorrect answers. The negative marking for RSMSSB Junior Engineer (Civil) Exam is here:

  • One mark for every correct answer.

  • 0.33 marks will be deducted from the score for every incorrect answer in RSMSSB Junior Engineer (Civil) Exam.

  • The candidate's score won't be deducted for any mark if they leave the question unattempted.

**The candidate has to secure a minimum of 40% marks to qualify for the first stage of the written exam to be eligible for the interview.
