RSMSSB Junior Engineer (Civil) Recruitment has two stages for the eligible candidates to get recruited. The candidates have to go through a proper RSMSSB Junior Engineer (Civil) selection process:

• RSMSSB JE Interview

The RSMSSB Junior Engineer (Civil) Eligibility Criteria is:

1. Age Limit:

• The Junior Engineer Civil must be within 18 - 40 years of age.

• The reserved category candidates are provided with the provision of age relaxation according to the Government guidelines. The age relaxation in the upper age limit is:

  • General/EWS candidates: 5 years

  • SC/ST/OBC/ BC (Men residence of Rajasthan) – 6 years

  • SC/ST/OBC/BC (Women residence of Rajasthan) – 10 years

  • Ex-servicemen: 5 Years

2. Educational Qualifications:

• The candidate must have B.E/ B. Tech degree or diploma in Civil stream, or equivalent from the Government recognized Board/Institute.

3. Nationality:

• The applicant eligible for RSMSSB Junior Engineer (Civil) Recruitment Test can be of Indian Nationality, Citizen of Nepal, Citizen of Bhutan, Tibetan refugee, only if they come intending to stay in India.

• People born in India but migrated to Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries.

• RSMSSB JE (Civil) Registration Fee for General/ UR/ EWS Candidates: Rs. 450

• Backward Class/OBC (NCL): Rs. 350

• SC/ST/PH: Rs. 250

• The candidates can apply on the official site only,  rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in

• The exam conducting body releases notification on the official site Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, Jaipur, to fill the application form

• This notification contains the registration period's information, required documents, exam date, relevant eligibility conditions, etc.

• The application form filling is started once the application form filling notification releases.

• The candidates must carefully read the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam because the ineligible candidates' candidature will not be acknowledged.

• The candidates have to click on the Apply Online on Junior Engineer's advertisement link (Civil).

• The application form will be filled in the below simple steps:

• The personal information of the candidates is required like educational qualification, communication, category, etc

• The post, exam center preference, etc. also asked on filling the application form

• The candidate's photo, signature, and certificates will be required during the application form filling.

• The signature should also be clear. 

• The candidates should note down the registration number and password for future use

• They should take the print out the application form copy to keep all the information with them for further use

• The admit card for RSMSSB Junior Engineer (Civil) online test will be available from December 08, 2020, for the December 13 Exam. The applicants can download the admit card from the official website (sso.rajasthan.gov.in).

• Candidates have to enter the login credentials that they have used at the time of registration.

• According to RSMSSB Junior Engineer (Civil) Online Test Score, the applicants have to appear for the RSMSSB JE Interview.

• The interview will be for 30 marks, and the candidates will be asked questions related to the job.

The RSMSSB Junior Engineer (Civil) exam's marking scheme is that the negative marking of 1/3rd marks is deducted for the incorrect answers. The negative marking for RSMSSB Junior Engineer (Civil) Exam is here:

• One mark for every correct answer.

• 0.33 marks will be deducted from the score for every incorrect answer in RSMSSB Junior Engineer (Civil) Exam.

• The candidate's score won't be deducted for any mark if they leave the question unattempted.

**The candidate has to secure a minimum of 40% marks to qualify for the first stage of the written exam to be eligible for the interview.

1. General Knowledge of Rajasthan

The candidates have to prepare for the following topics in the General Intelligence and Reasoning subject, 40 Questions will be asked from this subject.

2. Questions related to Civil Stream

The candidates have to prepare for the following topics in the General Intelligence and Reasoning subject, 80 Questions will be asked from this subject.
