IMU CET Exam: Exam Pattern, Insights and Details



IMU CET for Engineering is likely to be conducted on 4 Jan 2020, tentatively. Indian Maritime University conducts IMU CET to offer admissions to the aspiring candidates into various courses as offered by the university. Candidates qualifying the IMU CET exam will also be eligible for admissions into the colleges affiliated with the university. The application forms for this national level exam will be out by 15 Nov 2019 to 10 Dec 2019, tentatively. Aspirants willing to apply will be then able to register themselves for the exam.

Eligibility for IMU CET Exam 2020:

Educational Qualifications:

  • The candidates must have qualified their 12th with 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and at least 50% marks in English.
  • For SC/ST category candidates, there is a relaxation in marks, excluding English subjects.

Age Limit

  • General category candidates should be minimum of 17 years and maximum 25 years old as on 1st August 2020.
  • Maximum of five years age relaxation will be provided to SC/ ST category candidates.
