MH-CET Exam 2020: Important Dates

• Start of application form: January 21, 2020

• Last date of application form: Midnight of March 06, 2020

• Downloading of Admit card (Online): March 27, 2020

• Online Examination: April 12, 2020, that is postponed due to COVID -19 Outbreak.

• The result will be declared once the date for the online exam is announced on the official website.

Eligibility for MHCET Exam 2020

Nationality / Citizenship: The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.

Educational Qualification:

The candidate must have passed their 12th class in any Stream with at least 45% marks and 40% marks for SC/ST/OBC category from a recognized board.

Age Limit:

Maximum Age for Gen category: 20 Years

Maximum Age for SC/ST/OBC: 22 Years

MHCET Exam 2020: Exam pattern

• Online test and the offline test will be of 150 marks.

• The exam will have 150 MCQs type questions

• The total duration of the exam will be 120 minutes

• Sections in the exam: Five

  • Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning of 40 marks

  • General Knowledge with Current Affairs of 30 marks

  • Logical and Analytical Reasoning of 40 marks

  • English of 30 marks

  • Mathematical Aptitude of 10 marks

English: 

Vocabulary (Synonyms, Antonyms, Analogies, etc), Proficiency (Idioms and phrases, one-word substitutions, sentence improvement, and rearrangement, fill in the blanks, etc), English usage errors (common errors, spotting errors, inappropriate usages of words, spelling mistakes, etc.), English comprehension with minimum two passages followed by 5-10 questions that test reading and reasoning abilities.

Legal Aptitude:

Preparation tips for MHCET Exam 2020

• You need to finish 5 sections of the MHCET Exam within 120 minutes, which means you need speed with accuracy in order to attempt 150 questions in total. The more you practice, the better chances you have of acing this exam.

• Manage your time properly; give an appropriate amount of time to each section. Try to improve your time by practicing as many online tests as possible.
