Cochin University of Science And Technology (CUSAT) is one of the most famous universities in India with Grade 'A' rating from NAAC offering Under Graduate and Post Graduate degree in Engineering and Medical discipline. Every year CUSAT conduct an all India entrance examination named CUSAT CAT for offering admission to aspirants in the Under Graduate Engineering course. The exam consists of two parts namely paper 1 and paper 2. Paper 1 consists of maths which has 125 questions, whereas Paper 2 consists of physics and chemistry which have 125 questions together. With each question carrying 3 marks for correct answer making the exam total to 750 marks also there will be negetive marking of 1 mark for every wrong answer. CUSAT CAT is a computer-based exam covering syllabus of 10th and 12th standard- Physics, Chemistry and Maths. An aspirant who has acquired 50% on aggregate in 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as the base subject and in each of them separately is eligible for entering the admission process of CUSAT. CUSAT-CAT Eligibility Criteria:
An aspirant who have acquired 50% on aggregate in 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as the base subject obtaining 50% in each of them separately is eligible for entering the admission process of CUSAT.

Type: Computer-based test (Online Mode)
Duration: The duration of the CUSAT-CAT exam will be 180 minutes.
No. of Questions: 250 Objective type questions.
Syllabus Covered: Physics, Chemistry and Maths Upto 12th class.
Marking Scheme: 3 marks will be awarded for every correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
