ICAR AIEEA
Overview
· ICAR AIEEA is Indian Council for Agricultural research All India Entrance Examination for Admission is an exam to recruit students in under graduate, post graduate, and doctoral programmes in
agriculture and
allied sciences.
· This exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency.
· Intro
Eligibility
· The candidate must be of Indian nationality.
· Candidate must have physics, chemistry in their 12th and one of Biology/ Mathematics/Agriculture/Home Science as their mandatory subject.
· General category Candidate should have scored minimum 50% in their 12th from a recognized board.
· For Reserved candidates this percentage is reduced to 40%.
· Candidate should have a minimum age of 16 when giving the exam.
Exam pattern
· There are two streams in ICAR which are Stream A – agriculture and Stream B – Mathematics
· Stream A has three subjects which are Physics, Chemistry, biology/Agriculture.
· Stream B Also has three subjects Physics, chemistry and Maths.
· The exam is in Offline which is pen and paper mode.
· The exam will have 180 questions, each section having 60 questions each.
· Total time allotted for the exam is 150 minutes and total marks for the exam is 720 marks.
· A correct answer gives you 4 marks and a wrong answer will result in a deduction of 1 mark.
Tips and tricks
· Go through with the ICAR Exam pattern and syllabus before preparing for it.
· ICAR contains 2 streams so choose that stream which you are most comfortable with.
· You should thoroughly revise your 11 and 12th PCM concepts.
· Manage your time while giving ICAR AIEEA exam such that you give each question equal time to solve
