NATIONAL ENTRANCE SCREENING TEST –NEST I is a compulsory test for students seeking admission to National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) Bhubaneswar and University of Mumbai . It is conducted by National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) For Admission in 5 years Integrated Msc Program at NISER and UM-DAE CEBS.
the eligibility criteria:
Ø The Candidates should pass Class XII in Science stream from any recognised board in India with at least 60% aggregate marks
Ø For reserved categories the aggregate should be 55 %
Ø There is no restriction on number of times a candidate can appear for NEST exam.
Ø 27% of seats are reserved for OBC-NCL SC/ST AND PwD

THE Exam is divided in 5 sections for 180 marks-
· General section is for 30 marks comprising of 30 questions
· Physics is for 50 marks comprising of 50 questions
· Chemistry is for 50 marks comprising of 50 questions
· Mathematics is for 50 marks comprising of 50 questions
· Biology is for 50 marks comprising of 50 questions
· There is No Negative marking
TIPS & TRICKS· Don’t waste your time on Difficult question, Try solving those first , whom you are sure about
· Time management is very important during the exam but also while preparing for exam
· You should be well prepared and confident while appearing for the interview round.
· Make daily Targets for yourself , and check the at the end of the day

This exam is conducted by the Punjab University.
PUTHAT is a yearly entrance examination conducted for
admission to graduate courses of Hotel Management
and Catering Technology and Tourism and Travel
Management. Admission of candidates to both these
courses will be entirely based on merit (rank) obtained
in the entrance examination of PUTHAT. . If we talk about
application fee, for (general category) rs. 2100, for (sc/st/pwd)
rs. 1050

● The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.
● The candidate must have 12 th with 50% minimum
percentage and 45% for ST/SC with English as a
compulsory subject.

● Duration of the exam will be 90 minutes.
● There is negative marking, 25% will be deducted for each
wrong answer.
