This year’s TANCET will be held on 29 Feb and 1 march 2020, the University is yet to announce the exact exam schedule, however, it is certain that the exam will be organized in the offline, that is, pen and paper-based mode, while the duration of the exam will be of two hours.
Furthermore, Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test is a university state level exam that will take place across various cities of Tamil Nadu. The registration process will be online and candidates can apply through the official university web portal, but it is advisable that students check the eligibility criteria first. Recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3-years duration with at least 50% (45% in the case of reserved category) in the qualifying degree examination.

There is no age limit to apply for TANCET MBA.
Candidates from other states can apply for the exam, but the eligibility criteria will be decided by the University.
Those who have obtained degree without studying 10th, 12th or 3-years degree program are not eligible.
Candidates holding B.E./B.Tech degree (distance mode), are not eligible to apply for the test.
Final semester candidates of the eligible graduate degree programs can apply for the exam.

The medium of the paper is English. Question paper for M.Tech/ME/M.Arch and M.Plan are segregated into 3 sections.
