UPESEAT New Exam Pattern for BTech Programs:
UPES Engineering Aptitude Test will be conducted in an online mode completely. The exam will contain 4 Sections - Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English Language Comprehension. Each PCM will contain 35 questions and English will contain 20 questions. There will be 125 Questions to solve in 2 Hours. 1 Mark will be awarded for each right answer and no mark will be deducted for any wrong answer or unattempted answer. This marking scheme is expected and written on the basis of the last year's marking scheme.
University of Petroleum and Energy Studies accounts for the exam pattern, marking scheme, admissions etc. It decides which section will contain how many questions. UPESEAT is conducted every year to offer admission to various BTech Programs. UPES fills 80% seats through the UPESEAT and 20% from the JEE Main Merit List/ Board Merit List.
UPESEAT is a university-level exam containing MCQs from the subjects asked in the exam. It is a computer-based test. This is amongst popular exams in India. Lacs of candidates applies for the test every year. The last date of the registration is 30 June 2020 and the test date booking process will be completed between 1 to 4 July 2020. The exam will be conducted from 8 July to 12 July 2020.
Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics Section will contain 35 - 35 MCQs separately and apart from that English Language Comprehension Section will contain 20 MCQs. In this way, there will be total of 125 MCQs in the entrance exam to solve in 120 Minutes. It is expected on the basis of last year marking scheme that there will be no negative marking for wrong attempted questions and 1 Mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
