  • The Number of Seats available in the VIT for BTech Programs:

    There are 5000+ seats available in the VIT Campuses to offer admission in BTech programs through the VITEEE. There are approx 4202 seats available on adding the Vellore and Chennai Campus seats.

    The seats are available in all 4 campuses are offered according to the availability of no of seats in the programs. Above 2 lacs candidates apply every year for the VITEEE.

    The seats available at the end of the first-day counselling in the VIT:

    1. Vellore Campus: Civil Engineering (276), CSE Bio-Informatics (120), Electrical & Electronics Engineering (241), Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering (78), IT (259), Bio-medical engineering (81), Biotechnology (158), Chemical Engineering (86), Mechanical Engineering with specialization in chemical process engineering (75), Mechanical Engineering: Energy Engg. (129), Mechanical Engineering: production engg. (74), CSE (Nill), ECE (618), Automobile Engineering (49), Mechanical Engineering (577).

    2. Chennai Campus:  Civil Engineering (220), EEE (298), CSE (273), ECE (295), Mechanical Engineering (295).
