CS Foundation is a first level examination to become Company Secretary. The concerned authority of Company Secretary is the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). CS is the legal expert managing all adminsitration, legal, finance, accounts, and statutory requirements. The aspirants can apply even in 10th grade, however they can only take the examination after completing 12th grade. CS examination is held twice a year, in June and December. Usually, the results are out after a month of examination, that is, July and December. The examination has four papers of 50 questions each. There are 2 marks for each question, where there are 100marks in total for each paper. To clear this examination, candidates are required to score minimum 40% in each paper, with 50% in aggregate of all four papers. With almost 35,000 students appearing for CS Foundation every year, the level of the examination becomes very competitive for all the students. Thus, candidates are advised to attempt previous year question papers and mock tests to practice well.
