The Common Admission Test (CAT) is conducted by Tata Consultancy Services and more than 2,30,000 students give CAT exams every year.br /From 2011 esteemed Universities and Institutes like IIT's and IISc are also considering CAT scores for enrolling students in their management programs.br /There are 20 IIM's in India and each one of them has a different selection process based on the CAT score and percentile. These institutes generally have a two-step selection process. First is the CAT percentile and the second step consists of two processes, Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).br /Some IIM's namely IIM Sirmaur and IIM Jammu do not conduct the WAT and PI step and enroll students based on their CAT percentile and post-academic records so make sure your school and college percentage are within the range of 85-95 percentage.br /Top IIM's in Ahmedabad, Indore, Kolkata, Ranchi, and Vishakhapatnam require percentile greater than 90 but you should try to get above 95 percentile to have greater chances of admission in these IIM'sbr /All the institutes with management programs like IIM's, IIT's and IISc require a Bachelor's degree and your CAT percentile. So without any CAT score, you are no longer eligible for these institutes.br /The fees of these institutes depend on total no of seats for management programs and their academic qualification. The fees can range from 10,00,000 - 25,00,000.
