As CDS is conducted by UPSC so level is quite complex and you can't rely on one books.You need to grab matter from lot of places which includes:
1.GENERAL ENGLISH(arihant) - BY SP BAKSHI 
2.WORD POWER MADE EASY - BYNORMAN LEWIS
3.YOUTUBE( but rely fully on them )
