I am assuming that you are enquiring about the eligibility criteria for a candidate to join the Indian airforce as an officer. A candidate can join airforce as an officer by qualifying UPSC NDA, UPSC CDSE, NCC SPECIAL ENTRY (AIRFORCE WING for C certificate holders) or AFCAT(conducted by Indian Airforce). Nationality: The appearing candidate must be a citizen of India, Nepal or Bhutan. A Tibetan refugee came to India before 01 January 1962 with a mindset to become a permanent resident of India are also eligible. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Burma, SriLanka, Pakistan & East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India are also eligible to apply. Eligibility Criteria For AFCAT: 1) Flying Branch ( 205/19F/SSC/M&W Courses) Age: 20 to 24 years as on 01st Jan, 2019 (born between 02nd Jan, 1995 to 01st Jan, 1999) both dates inclusive. Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (Indian) is relaxable upto 26 years (born between 02nd Jan, 1995 to 01st Jan, 1999) both dates inclusive Educational Qualifications: Graduates (minimum 3 years degree course) in any discipline from a recognized university who have attained minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have passed Maths and Physics at 10+2 level or B.E./B.Tech degree (4 year course) from a recognized university.
