IIT JAM: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

General- Bachelor's degree in Science stream with minimum 55% in aggregate.
SC/ST/OBC- Bachelor's degree in Science stream with minimum 50% in aggregate.

IIT JAM: Exam Pattern

Type: Computer Based test (Online Mode)

Duration: The duration of the IIT JAM exam will be of 180 minutes.

No. of Questions: 60 Objective type questions.

Marking Scheme:  1/3 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES: General Biology, Basics of Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biophysics, Microbiology, Cell Biology and Immunology, Mathematical Sciences

BIOTECHNOLOGY (BT): General Biology, Biochemistry and Physiology, Basic Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Microbiology.
