JEE Main Exam Pattern
JEE is one of the toughest exam to crack.
· Total Time Duration of JEE exam is 180 minutes (3 hours)
· The question paper is consisting of 90 questions.
· The JEE Mains question paper’s maximum marks are 360.
· The question paper is divided into 3 sections i.e. A, B, C consisting of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics that is comprise of 30 questions in each section with equal weightage.
· Each question is given 4 marks for each correct response.
· Candidates will be awarded marks for every correct response. Only 1/4 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Deduction will not be done from the total score if no response is indicated for an item in the answer sheet.
· There is only one correct answer for each and every question. Filling up more than one answer in any question will be regarded as wrong answer and marks for wrong answers will be deducted.
Total Questions=90
Maximum Marks =360
Marks for each and every Correct Answer=4
Negative Marks for Wrong Answer=1
Marks for not attempting questions =0
Total Time for Exam=180 minutes
