Hi Nandhini!This is Neeraj Atluri.Consider the present age of Raja is "R"
after 32 years=R+32
be 5 times as old as he was 8 years ago=5(R-8)
->R+32=5(R-8)
->R+32=5R-40
->4R=72
->R=18;
So the present age of raja is 18.

Let present age =x=x

x+32=5(x−8)⇒x=18
Answer :18
