    There are 3 sections in this examination. First, the prelims second, the mains and third, the interview.

    IBPS conducts Common Written Examination (CWE) for the enlisting of Clerical Cadre vacancies publically sector Banks. The common written examination pattern details are given below:

    IBPS CLERK Exam Pattern:
    IBPS Clerk conducts this on-line Common Written examination for Clerical Cadre posts. The examinations are going to be 2 tiers i.e. the net examinations are going to be command in 2 phases, preliminary and main. Total marks of preliminary examination is One hundred during a length of One hour for objective sort queries & total marks of Main exam is Two hundred during a length of Two hours for objective sort queries. The tests except the test of English language are going to be accessible bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.
    CWE – Online Examinations: 
    1. The structure of the Examinations which will be conducted online are as follows:
    a. Preliminary Examination
    1English LanguageCarries 30Questions with total 30 marks.
    2Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability carry  35Questions with total 70 marks.
    b. Main Examination
    1Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude,  General Awareness and Computer Knowledge carry 40 questions each with total 200 marks.
     
    Penalty for Wrong Answers:
    There will be penalty for wrong answers marked within the Objective Tests. For every question that a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks allotted to it question are going to be subtracted as penalty to make corrected score. If a matter is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there'll be no penalty for that question.
    Scores: The corrected scores obtained by every of the candidates in numerous sessions (if held) are going to be normalized mistreatment equipercentile methodology.
    Cutoff Score: every candidate are going to be needed to get a minimum score in every test  and conjointly a minimum total score to be thought-about to be shortlisted for interview.
