1. The age limit should not be less than 21 yrs and should not be more than 30 yrs
2. For general category the candidate must be a Graduate with 60% marks from any recognised university.
3. For SC/St category the candidate needs 55% marks
4. The candidate must be a citizen of India
5. or from Nepal and Bhutan citizen
6. Or the candidate must be a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 01st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India
7. The candidate can be a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries with the intention of permanently settling in India Provided that a candidate shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Govt. of India
8. Age Relaxation-
9. FOR SC/ST --5 YRS
10. FOR OBC ----3 YRS
11. FOR PWD(GEN) 10YRS
12. FOR PWD(SC/ST) 15 YRS
13. FOR PWD(OBC)—13 YRS
14. FOR PERSONS DOMICILED IN J&K –5 YRS
