  • The State Bank of India (SBI) Probationary Officer (PO) exam consists of two main phases: Preliminary (Prelims) and Main examination. It consists of three sections:br /br /strongEnglish Language:/strong This section typically contains 30 questions, and candidates have 20 minutes to complete it.br /strongQuantitative Aptitude:/strong It usually consists of 35 questions and has a time limit of 20 minutes.br /strongReasoning Ability:/strong This section also has 35 questions, and candidates are given 20 minutes to complete it.br /The SBI PO Prelims is an online test with objective-type multiple-choice questions. It is designed to assess your basic skills in English, Mathematics, and Reasoning.br /br /strongSBI PO Main Exam Pattern:/strongbr /br /The SBI PO Main exam is more comprehensive and in-depth. It comprises both objective and descriptive tests. The main exam consists of the following sections:br /br /strongReasoning & Computer Aptitude:/strong This section contains 45 objective-type questions and one descriptive question.   • The Exam Pattern for SBI PO Prelimsstrong emremains unchanged/em/strong. There will be 100 Objective Questions based on Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and English and candidate will have only 1 Hour Total to solve. On other side, there are few changes in main's pattern. SBI PO Mains 2016 will consist of objective and subjective papers, where the objective papers will carry 200 marks and descriptive will carry 25 marks. Time allotted to solve objective paper will be 3 Hours and a total time of 30 minutes will be allotted to descriptive paper. Both type of papers for SBI PO 2016 Mains will be conducted online.
