    Staff Selection Commission every year conducts Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2016 in the month of May. SSC conducts the exam in two tiers; First stage is Tier I Examination and second is Tier II Examination followed by Proficiency/Skill Test for the post of assistant section officer.
    TIER I Examination
    It comprises of the following
    ·         Reasoning carries 50 marks having 50 questions.
    ·         General Awareness carries 50 marks having 50 questions.
    ·         Quantitative Aptitude carries 50 marks having 50 questions.
    ·         English Comprehension carries 50 marks having 50 questions.
    Total – 200 marks containing 200 questions to be answered in 02 hours.
    TIER II Examination
    It comprises of the following
    ·         Quantitative Abilities: 200 marks containing 100 Questions to be answered in 2 hours
    ·         English Comprehension & Language: 200 mark containing 200 questions to be answered in 2 hours.
