Staff Selection Commission Multi-Tasking Staff Paper 1 & Paper 2: Staff Selection Commission is a government organization of India that conducts staff section examinations each year to fill in a large number of vacancies for various posts in government offices. SSC MTS Paper 1 is an objective type of computer-based test and Paper 2 will be a descriptive type pen-paper based test. The time frame provided for SSC MTS Paper 1 for General Candidates is 1.5 Hours (90 Minutes) whereas for PwD (Cerebral Palsy and Visually Handicapped) Candidates the time duration is 2 hours (120 Minutes).
SSC MTS is a national-level recruitment examination and as like any other government job exams, SSC Multi-Tasking Staff is the non-technical exam that is conducted for two stages: SSC MTS Paper 1 and SSC MTS Paper 2. This question can be attempted by the candidate in English or the 22 official languages that are mentioned in the Eighth Schedule of the Indian Constitution.

SSC MTS Marking Scheme:
The negative marking is applicable for SSC MTS Paper 1 only as Paper 2 is conducted to test the elementary skills of the candidate. The candidates are required to attempt the questions carefully as the 4 wrong answers will cut out the mark for 1 correct answer.
1 mark will be added to the candidate’s score for every correct answer
0.25 marks will be subtracted for every wrong answer in the exam.
The candidates who will be able to clear the SSC MTS Paper 1 with the called for marks have the chance to appear for SSC MTS Paper 2.

English Language: This section is to test the candidate’s vocabulary, synonyms, antonyms, sentence structure, grammar, sentence correction & the writing ability
General Awareness: This section is usually designed to see that how much the candidate is aware of the events around him/her such as questions relating to India and its neighboring countries, Sports, History, Culture, Geography, Economic scene, General Polity including Indian Constitution, and Scientific Research, National Awards.
