CUCET Exam: Exam Pattern, Syllabus and Details



Central Universities Common Entrance Test for Post Graduate (PG) courses is conducted by central universities of Haryana, Jharkhand, Jammu, Karnataka, Kashmir, Kerala, Punjab, Rajasthan, South Bihar and Tamil Nadu along with Bengaluru Dr B.R. Ambedkar School of Economics. CUCET is conducted to offer admissions to aspirants into various postgraduate courses as offered by the various central universities. Candidates willing to get admissions on the basis of their scores in CUCET are advised to go through the eligibility criteria described by the respective university they want admissions in. CUCET 2020 is expected to be conducted on 23 and 24 May 2020, tentatively.

Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in the same field or any associated discipline with minimum 55% aggregate (50% for reserved category).

Preparation Tips for CUCET Exam:

  • Allocate proper amount of time to each and every topic.
  • Choose your preparation material wisely. Prepare handmade notes and use them for daily revision.
  • Before starting preparing for the exam, make sure to go through the syllabus and exam pattern for the exam thoroughly.
  • Try to study at several times in regular sessions during a day. Studying in a stretch for hours can be tedious and hard and also not so good.
  • Give your brain appropriate time to refresh it, and get at least eight hours of sleep each night. It is very important to maintain proper health, so you don’t fall sick on the big day.
