Aspirants who want a stable career in rural banking in India can join the IBPS Recruitment for various posts under Group A & B; Group “A”-Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B”-Office Assistant (Multipurpose). Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts the Rural Regional Banks (RRBs) recruitment all over India every year. IBPS issues the notification for recruitment for which the selection will be made through the Common Recruitment Process for the posts mentioned above. Interested candidates can apply for the “Officer Scale I” post by completing the online registration on the IBPS official website.  



The recruitment processes for the posts as mentioned above, will be conducted in two phases:



              1. IBPS RRB Officer Scale-1 Prelims


              2. IBPS RRB Officer Scale-1 Mains


              3. Interview


Candidates who wish to appear for the RRB Officer Scale 1 post-selection first have to clear Prelims Exam and then Mains Exam. Both exams will be in the Online Mode. After clearing the mains, selected candidates will be called for the final interview. In selecting IBPS RRB Officer Scale 1 Post, the candidates have to go through a proper selection procedure to get recruited. The selection will be entirely based on the score obtained by the candidates in the two stages:

IBPS RRB Officer Scale I Mains Exam comprises five sections: Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, Computer Awareness, General Awareness, and English/Hindi Language. All sections will have 40 Questions required to be solved in the time duration of 2 hours. The recruitment exam will have 200 questions, with every question allotted to 1 mark.

  1. The RRB Officer Scale-I post's selection procedure is the three-stage process with the Prelims Exam, Mains Exam followed by the final Interview session.

  2. IBPS will conduct the RRB Officer Scale I Mains Exam online with Multiple-Choice Objective Questions.

•             You need speed to finish the online test/exam within the prescribed time limit, which is just 120 minutes. Practice reasoning and mathematics problems by memorizing formulas. After each study session keep 1 hour for revision of topics learned/practiced.
 
•             Make mathematics your strong suit, practice questions to solve them within time to increase efficiency. The trick here is to mug up math formulas by heart, so they come in handy while solving a problem.
