CU-CET Exam: Exam Pattern, Syllabus, and Details
The objective of this policy is to establish Chandigarh University’s commitment to admit deserving students and reward them with scholarships through Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET). This policy also aims to provide transparency and objectivity in administering and disbursing Chandigarh University’s Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate scholarships.

This policy applies to all the applicants aspiring to pursue Under-Graduate (UG) and Post-Graduate (PG) programmes at Chandigarh University.
The exam will be conducted in three phases as Chandigarh University conducts CU-CET thrice in a year but the timeline is different. The Online CU-CET will be conducted from January 01 - June 30, 2020.
The results for the online exam will be declared on the official website of Chandigarh University in the last week of June.
The CUCET will be an online test that will be comprised of 100 Questions that are required to be solved in the 120 minutes. The questions will be from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. Each section will have an equal weightage of 1 mark that will make it a total of 100 marks. There is the marking scheme that 1 mark will be given for the correct answers while there will be no deductions for the wrong answer.
The CUCET (Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test) acts as an entrance test as well as a scholarship for the aspirants who are willing to take admission to CU. The exam is conducted for every course available at University except for the Ph.D. course. The test is organized thrice in a year yet the dates are different for each phase.
Chandigarh University rewards the brilliance of the applicants by providing them the scholarship according to the marks scored in the CUCET. CU is considered one of the best among the private universities in India as the placement opportunities and the infrastructure interests the applicants the most to apply for the admission. It is located in Gharaun, Mohali.
The test will be conducted at the test centers allotted to the registered applicants where the applicants have to appear on the dates that they have chosen for the examination. The applicants can carry their own laptop with a camera or the can appear for the exam at the desktop provided by the test centers.
Any citizen across the world can apply for the CUCET as Chandigarh University welcomes all the students, the application process is not different for the foreign nationals. The applicant must have qualified 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% in Science stream from the recognized board.

1 mark will be granted for every correct answer and no marks will be subtracted for the wrong answer and unattempted questions.

The candidates can apply for the scholarship if the candidate has scored the marks according to the category cut off.
The online CUCET is conducted from January 01, 2020, onwards the last date for the exam is June 30, 2020. The Non-Medical stream CUCET will have 100 MCQs that will be for 100 marks.
