Exams are always a difficult time for me. first clear you basics with ncrt once Ur done with it uh can use any book for future knowledge cozz ncrt sumup everything but for history go for spectrum n in geography savinder Singh is Ur man

nice tips and suggestions. Guys i would suggest you to download the study material from a website called DDE defencedirecteducation.combr /they are very handy, they have organised their general knowledge content in few pages and good number of questions appeared in my last CDS from their material. they also provided me curent affairs content.
