  • UPTU(AKTU) Syllabus:
    The syllabus is guided by the university authorities' concerned department. The Engineering entrance of any university covers mostly the 12th standard topics of the subjects. The exact syllabus will be provided by the university. 
    The exam will be divided into 3 sections: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.
    Physics section- Topics from Measurement, Linear momentum & collisions, Oscillatory motion, Mechanics of solids and fluids, Wave optics, Heat and thermodynamics, Motion in one dimension, Wave, Current electricity, Electrostatics, Laws of motion.
    Chemistry section- Topics from Atomic structure, Chemical Equilibrium and kinetics, Electrochemistry, Catalysis, Colloids, Colligative properties of the solution, Preparation and properties, General organic chemistry, General organic chemistry, Redox reactions, Acid-base concepts, etc.
    Maths section- Topics from Algebra, Probability, Trigonometry, Co-ordinate geometry, Calculus, Vectors, Dynamics & Statics.
