let's suppose area of circle is 3.142×r^2 then after radius is reduced by 50% then area of new circle will be 3.142*0.5r*0.5r=3.142*o.25*r^2 Percentage decrease= ((3.142*r^2-3.142*0.25*r^2)/3.14*r^2 )*100% =((1-0.25)/1)*100% =0.75*100% 75%
