  • ISRO stands for Indian Space Research Organisation is a Government Organisation which is highly engaged in research and development activities. ISRO works as an organisation to provide sustainable and self-reliable gadgets in area of Automation, Electronics, Computer Science, Mechanical, Agricultural field etc.  Formed in 1969, ISRO superseded the Indian National Committee for Space Research (INCOSPAR), which was established in 1962.  ISRO which is managed by Department of Space (DoS) of the Government of India institutionalises the space activities.
