Eligibility for NABARD Recruitment

 Nationality / Citizenship: The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.

 Age of the candidate:

Minimum Age: 21 years

Maximum Age: 30 years

 Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with 50% marks or Post Graduation degree with minimum 50% marks.

NABARD Recruitment: Exam Pattern for Prelims

• Preliminary online test (CBT) will be of 200 marks.
• The exam will have 200 MCQs type questions.
• The total duration of the exam will be 120 minutes
• The medium of the language of the questions will be Hindi and English
• Sections in the exam: Seven
  • The reasoning for 20 marks
  • Quantitative Aptitude for 20 marks
  • English Language for 40 marks
  • General Awareness for 20 marks
  • Computer Knowledge for 20 marks
  • Economic and Social Issues for 40 marks
  • Agriculture and Rural Development for 40 marks
• Marking scheme: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer and 1 mark will be allotted for each right. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there will be no penalty for that question.

Selection process: NABARD Recruitment

• First- the candidates will have to appear for an Online Preliminary Test that would be of 200 marks.
• Second- those who qualify the Preliminary Test will be shortlisted for Mains Test which would be of 200 marks.
• Third- those who qualify Mains will be followed by Interviews.

Syllabus: NABARD Recruitment

Reasoning:- Focus on Comprehension Reasoning, Venn Diagrams, Number Series, Coding and de-coding, Problem Solving Techniques, Statement & Conclusion type questions,  arithmetic reasoning, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, syllogistic reasoning, Seating Arrangements.

English Language :- Mainly Focus on the topics like Synonyms, Antonyms,  Sentence Error, Sentence correction, fill in the blanks, Comprehension & Cloze Test etc.

Computer Knowledge :- Basic of Computers, Computer Organization, Generations of computer, Input & Output Device, Shortcuts & Basic knowledge MS word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Memory Orientation, Internet, LAN, WAN, Modem, Computer Abbreviations, Modern day Technology. Remember short cut Tricks of MS Word, MS Excel & Computer Abbreviations.

General Awareness:- Questions will be asked from Indian Current Events, Banking, General Science, General Knowledge. The focus will be mainly on Current affairs of National & International news, Important dates, Current Science, Technology, Sports & Culture & Banking Sector. Some questions from Marketing can come in the exam.

Quantitative Aptitude:- Questions will be asked from Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages, Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart. Date Interpretation is the section which has to be focused

Preparation tips for NABARD Recruitment: For Prelim/Main
 

• You need to finish three sections of NABARD Prelims within 120 minutes, which means you need speed with accuracy in order to attempt 200 questions in total. The more you practice, the better chances you have of acing this exam.
• Make mathematics and reasoning your strong subjects, practice questions to solve them within time to increase efficiency. You should lay emphasis not on mugging up the formulas but instead try understanding the concepts, so, you can modify the formulas according to the question requirement.
• Remember negative marking is a factor here. Therefore, try not to attempt questions that put you in doubt. Although, the prelim exam will be of just qualifying nature and won’t be considered for the final merit list as only Main exam marks will matter, but you still need to secure the minimum qualifying marks in the prelims as set by the NABARD.
• Manage your time properly; give appropriate amount of time to each section. Try to improve your time by practicing as many online tests as possible.
