A cistern of capacity 8000 liters measures externally 3.3m by 2.6m by 1.1 m by and its walls are 5 cm thick. The thickness of bottom is?

The thickness is given as 5 cm and the dimensions given are external dimensions so in order to get internal dimension we subract the external dimensions by thichness on both sides so 5*2=10 i.e 1 dm
