Your Answer

Given- Selling Price=Rs 1510.
Now on selling for 1510, he incurred a loss of 10%
Hence the cost price of item = Rs 1677.78
Now he had given a discount of 49/2=24.5% on the selling price and after the discount, he sold it for 1510
Hence x-24.5*x/100=1510
x=2000
Thus the Selling price would have been 2000 if he hadn't given a discount
Now the profit would have been:
2000-1677.78=322.22
Net profit would have been Rs 322.22
