What is the criteria for deciding cut-off marks, what factors affect the cutoff for SSC Junior Engineer?
SSC JE Cut-Off:
Staff Selection Commission takes the whole responsibility of conducting the Junior Engineer Recruitment Exam, the results and cut-off will be released on the official website of the SSC. The cut-off can release with the announcement of the result or expected cut-off will be in the rounds for the recruitment process. The cut-off for SSC JE Paper 1 will be released first as the exam will be commenced first followed by the commencement of SSC Junior Engineer Paper 2.
The cut-off marks are a crucial factor as it paves the way for the selection process. It is affected by many factors such as the applicants who have appeared for the exam, negative marking, difficulty level, vacancies, marks scored by the candidates, caste category and the last year cut-off. SSC had released the cut-off marks for the online exam that were conducted from September 23 – 27, 2019.
The SSC JE Paper 1 for the 2019 Notification will going to be held in the online mode from September 01 – 04, 2020 for which the result dates are still not announced yet. The cutoff marks for the year 2018 recruitment exam is mentioned here:
