RRB ALP Computer Based Test is held in two stages
First Stage consists of 75 questions from topics such as General Science, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Maths and General Awareness on Current Affairs which is of 60 minutes duration
Second Stage consists 175 marks and is divided into two parts:
1. Part A consists of 100 questions from topics such as Maths, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Basic Science & Engineering and General Awareness on Current Affairs which is of 90 minutes duration
2. Part B consists of 75 marks from topics relevant trade of the post you are applying from which is of 60 minutes duration
Points to keep in mind
1. There shall be negative marking for incorrect answers in First and Second Stage CBT.
1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
2. If you have applied for ALP and qualified in Second Stage CBT will have to appear for Computer Based Aptitude Test followed by Document Verification.
3. There shall be no negative marking for Computer Based Aptitude Test.
4. The Computer Based Aptitude Test shall have questions and answer options only in English and Hindi.
5. If you are applying for Technicians then you will be directly called for Document Verification after both the stages of CBT.
