Banaras Hindu University established in 1916 in VARANASI as the public college for the spreading of technology and science with the study of Indian religion and Principles. It has more than 30000 students coming from 48 countries, residing making it the largest residential college in ASIA. BHU is organised into 6 institutes and 14 faculties (streams) and about 140 departments with 75 hostels for students. Faculty of LAW was one of the first faculties in BHU. The BHU LAW University has 4 institutions with 15 faculties and 30000 students. The Minimum Education Qualification is Graduation with 50% aggregate marks from a recognised university. The maximum age limit should not be more than 30 years for General Category but for SC/ST Category it is 35 years. There are total 230 seats for Three – Year BHU LLB Courses.
