AMU (Aligarh Muslim University) established in 1875 by the name of Muhammadan Anglo-Oriental College which later in 1920 became Aligarh Muslim University whose foundation was laid by Sir Sayed Ahmed Khan. AMU offers more than 300 courses to around 28000 students each year and has a staff of nearly 7000 people, including Teachers and Non-Teacher. Everyone is welcomed irrespective of caste, creed or religion and even for some courses, the seats have been reserved for SAARC Member Countries and Common Wealth Countries. Founded with the Sole Purpose to provide high-quality education and scientific Exposure to Muslim communities like Cambridge and Oxford University. Now, it promotes religious secularity and acts as a living emblem of fused Philosophies of India. AMU offers 20 LAW courses Law Entrance Exam which includes LLB and BA.LLB courses.
The notification for 2020 law admission is out and the last date of registration is March 07, 2020. The minimum education qualification is 50% aggregate marks in Secondary Education from a recognised college or Institute. The age limit is 17 and the upper limit is 22 years. Eligibility Criteria for AMU LLB:
As per the AMU BA LLB eligibility criteria, the candidates need to qualify the 10+2 examination from any board of examination, securing at least 50 percent of marks in aggregate of the subjects in their 12th board exam.
Further according to the Supreme Court order, there is no age limit for admissions to BA LLB programme in Aligarh Muslim University, following the AMU BA LLB eligibility criteria.
Moreover, those who do not meet the AMU BA LLB eligibility criteria and yet apply for the AMU BA LLB admission test, will not be offered admissions into the undergraduate law programme even if they qualify the admission test of AMU BA LLB programme.
Exam Pattern:
It is an Offline or Paper– Pencil Based Exam which comprises 85 Questions (75 Objective Type Questions & 10 Short Answer Type Questions) from GENERAL STUDIES, MENTAL ABILITY, ENGLISH, CURRENT AFFAIRS and LAW carrying 100 Marks each with a time limit of 2 Hours for BA.LLB and LLB. 1 mark for every correct objective type answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted for incorrect answer.

Tips to crack AMU LLB Entrance Exam
Increase Speed: Manage your time properly; give an appropriate amount of time to each section. Try to improve your time by practicing as many online tests as possible.
