NTPC Recruitment is a process of three steps as:br /1. GATE- Written Exambr /2. Group Discussionbr /3. Interviewbr /It invites fresh graduates, diploma/ ITI holders as well as experienced manpower. However, the hiring pattern differs very slightly for all the three types of applicants. Executives are moved to the GD round if they clear GATE. There are various tests involved in the process of hiring non-executive workforce which has tests such as physical, trade and skill tests.

Eligible candidates will have to undergo two hours Objective Typewritten Examination / test. Based on the performance in the written test, merit list of successful candidates for appearing in the subsequent skill test will be drawn. All such short listed candidates will have to appear for skill test.
