Field Selection in ME programs in Civil Engineering

I am going to study M.E/M.Tech programs in Civil Engineering, so please tell me the good courses/ fields in it

• It depends on what you are going to do after M.Tech, to be specific it depends on your interest on what you want to pursue a carer. If you want to go for consulatancy work that go for Geotech in your M.tech , if you are interested in research then then go for fluid mechanics or hydrology or hydraulics because there are lot of propects in this area as far as research is concerned and there are lot of upcoming scientists and advancements in this field of study..and last but not the least structures is evergreen.
