  • The pattern of CLAT exam is discussed below - The mode of CLAT is Online.It is a Computer Based Test . It has numbers of sections .Number of Sections for LL.B(UG) are 5 sections and for LL.M(PG) there are- 3 sections.Then the number of questions for LLB(UG) are- 200 and LLM(PG) are 150. The question paper is objective. Total Marks of CLAT 2019 is 200 (1 mark for each question).It also has Negative Marking. And 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.The Duration of exam is 2 hours. And the question paper will be in Exam Language.So this is the pattern of CLAT. This is the current pattern of CLAT.

  • Exam Duration
    Candidates have to attempt the online CLAT 2018 in an allotted time of 120 minutes, i.e., two hours.
    Number of Questions
    The online CLAT 2018 paper will have as many as 200 questions for undergraduate programmes and 150 questions for postgraduate law programme. The questions will be objective nature with multiple-choice answer options. Candidates will need to choose the most appropriate one among the given options which they find to be correct.
    Total Marks
    The candidates will be attempting the CLAT 2018 paper for scoring maximum marks of 200.


    Marking Scheme
    Each correct answer in CLAT 2018 paper will be awarded 1 mark and 0.25 marks each will be deducted for every incorrect response from the total CLAT score. Non-attempted questions will be awarded zero marks as no marks will be deducted for this.

    Total Marks – The 200 question of on-line CLAT 2016 can carry total marks of 200, wherever every question are going to be of 1 mark.
    Marking theme –
