It depends upon the charge of source. If there are 2 sources,1 +vely charged and 1 -vely charged. The electric field will directed towards the source if the source is -ve.And E.F will be away from the source if the source is +ve

It depends upon charge...When charge is positive it is away from charge and when charge is negative it is towards the charge
