  • It depends upon the charge of source. If there are 2 sources,1 +vely charged and 1 -vely charged. The electric field will directed towards the source if the source is -ve.And E.F will be away from the source if the source is +ve


  • It depends upon charge...When charge is positive it is away from charge and when charge is negative it is towards the charge


  • Sometimes electric field lines, point in the direction that a positive test charge would accelerate if placed upon the line. As such, the lines are directed away from positively charged source charges and toward negatively charged source charges.
