Plastid have three main types:Chloroplasts, Chromoplasts and Leucoplasts. Chloroplasts are the specialized part of photosynthesis. Chromoplasts make and store pigments for giving petals and other fruits got their color as yellow and orange. Leucoplasts don't contain pigments and it is situated at the root.
