All About NEET Exam:
NEET is National Eligibility cum Entrance Test.
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) is a new qualifying cum entrance examination is conducted by the National Testing Agency(NTA), the Medical Council of India. NEET has been launched by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) Govt, of India and Medical Council of India (MCI).
NEET has been introduced for:
1. Undergraduate (NEET-UG) Medical Course like MBBS, BDS, etc.
2. Post Graduate (NEET-PG) Medical Courses like M.S, M.D, etc.
About 355 MBBS & 300 Dental colleges have been placed by MCI, which are registered for NEET. These colleges shall allow 43,700 MBBS seats & 24,800 Dental seats across India. The candidates are required to register for the NEET Exam through the official website of CBSE.
NEET Exam is an offline exam with 180 questions where 4 marks will be awarded for every correct answer.
There is 1 mark negative marking for every incorrect answer.
The maximum duration for NEET Exam is 3 hours.
The questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) sections, all questions will be of objective-type.
