Basic Principles of Organic Chemistry is the second most important chapter and thus carries a weightage of 24.4%. br / br /3. Physical Chemistrybr /This unit was given high importance in NEET 2017 exam. Accordingly, this unit carries 30.4% weightage. (Assuming total 100%) Among all, States of Matter and Solutions (24.1%) is the most important of all followed by Equilibrium (18.2%). Rest of the questions were asked from the different chapter covering Chemical Kinetics and Nuclear Chemistry (14.6%), Thermodynamics and Thermochemistry (13.1%) and others.
